Some friends popped over for dinner on Friday night, and brought along a whole bunch of Fresh basil from their garden.. we put it to good use making Bruschetta on the smoker. Recipe after the jump

100 1362

Topping:

1 cup of fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
6 pitted black olives
2 roma tomatoes

Put the whole mess in the food processor and give it a couple of pulses.

Slice some tomato, mozzarella and goat cheese.
Brush both sides of sliced bread with lots of Olive oil and build your Bruschetta as you see fit.
Place on cookie sheet in the smoker for 20-30 minutes with a good handfull of your favorite wood dust. I used apple and lemon.
